2.) your photos can either represent the number or have the actual number in letters or numbers.

  5. Very creative!

    great detail on "0".

"1" kind of looks like 7 as well but I do like your power lines photos.

"2" is cleverly done, although by itself I think it's less striking than the other photos.

    I love "3" :)

"4" - I want to know more about this - I can definitely see the 4 in this but can't tell what the photo is of in general.

"5" is pretty cool - made me smile when I turned my head to the side to see how you got the angle.

    "6" is gorgeous!!

"7" is awesome - cleverly done! I'd like to see this in color too.

"8" is really rustic looking - it goes well with "7" I think.

    Cool photos!

  6. All the photos are very clever and well done/thought through... my favs are 0 and 6. In both there is wonderful textures, lighting/shadows play off of each other very well, this makes for a very pleasing and interesting photo. You have a fantastic eye for things/items that would make amazing photos.

  7. Erin, I mentioned to Katie N that I thought it was interesting you both shot in the same style and you both included the number "0".

Your pictures made me smile when I saw them. Your style really shines through in these. If someone had given me 10 sets of photos to look through I'm pretty sure I would have been able to pick these out as yours. You're learning to show us the world the way you see it instead of the way others see it.

I like that most of these pictures have a sort of grainy texture to them. I think Zero is by far the grainiest image, but it works because the texture is carried through most of the images.

For me I think # 1 and 2 are the least interesting of the set, they don't stand very well on their own, but when seen with the others they work well.

Since I know that #3 is actually toilet paper rolls my brain fills in the rest of the circle and I actually see an "8" instead. I wish I didn't...I like the concept.

#4 and 5 are terribly abstract but they work! I love the movement in 5 and that there's just enough of a line at the top to give us the idea of a 5.

6 is the star of the show I think! This picture could stand all by itself and be just as stunning. Absolutely beautiful Erin!

Ha ha...I just recognized 7...it's a boot, upside down!

I really love this mirror, it makes a great 8. You have a wonderful way of balancing out really contrasting subject, you did it well in this image. The mirror is so dark, but there are some nice textures that repeat that through the image.

    Beautiful job!

  8. whoa-erin- these are awesome!
they really do look like "you" pictures (as Diana mentioned- you have a certain style figured out)
#4 really has me baffled- I mean, I see the 4 in it, but the rest of the picture doesn't make sense to me- it looks really cool, but I can't figure out which way is up, sideways, or what the heck is going on. I see the sidewalk, but then on the bottom r corner there's an upside-down house. dizzying.
#3 I keep seeing as an 8, and after reading Diana's comment, I know why- I see the whole parts of the toilet paper. Anyway, this one is the only one of the set that it seems as though you set it up to work, instead of finding something that appears as though it were a number. Not that that's a bad thing, it just is different from the other photos in that way.
Anyway, this was a fantastic concept- I love 6 (is that a pin?) and 8 the best- beautiful photographs on their own:)

  9. Erin, these are just too fun! and very creative :) I like how you not only used objects that look like the numbers, but you manipulated them with the framing of the photo (like 3, 5, and 7).
My favorites are 0 and 6. Great job again!
