  1. I just love the pic of your bathroom! I'm not sure if it's the red/white contrast and shiny silver or what, but I love it! And the angle makes it so much more than just any old "this is my Christmassy bathroom" pic.

Looks like you had a yummy dinner spread, too!

  2. Thanks Melanie, but this isn't actually my house. It is just a friend's house that I attended a holiday party at. I'm sure they will love the compliments though! The food was really yummy too!

  3. Wow! What a stunning home! I'm totally terrified of the day that I'll have to put Christmas decorations in my own home. People think that because I'm artistic, I'm good with spacial stuff. But I'm not. These pictures are inspiring and give me hope!

My absolute favorite of the set is #4. I absolutely love your shallow depth of field! It's helps make the lights look so blurry and beautiful! This would be a cool one to frame and either give as a gift or hang in our own home at Christmas. I think your friend would be delighted to see these.

The first image doesn't really jump out at me much. I really love the out of focus tree and appreciate your attempt at grounding the image by using the blanket and chair (?) but I feel like there's some information missing somewhere...I see that you tried again with the green wall photo...I'm glad you tried different angles, when you discovered how cool those lights looked out of focus. Someone once gave me a tip on how to do something very cool with out of focus lights. I've never tried it but will have to share it with you some time!

    Great job again!

  4. Love those! The table with all of the food is my favorite. The first picture is also really pretty.
