My Friends. My Family.

I love them...I want for them...I wish for them...

These are some, not all, of the friends and family that I have hung out with along the way this summer. Many of them I have known for years and years, some are new friends, all are very near and dear to my heart for sure. I know I am totally breaking the photo challenge rules this week, but this summer I have been drowning in post production with all the work I have been producing. I can not keep up with everything. So, for the sake of participating in the challenge and continuing to share my work on the blog, I am posting this set of portraits from this summer. I have just picked out little ditty's from all of the fun times so far and grouped them together. I absolutely adored the challenge idea this week and didn't want to miss out in posting even though I wasn't doing exactly what was asked and I am terribly late...yikes. (I am no doubt a photo challenge delinquent this summer ...sorry :( ) I feel that this group of people fits the brief perfectly. They truly mean the world to me. And just look at them. They are a gorgeous group!!! :) Love to you all and I hope none of you are mad that I am posting you on my blog......lol.....guess you will just have to get over it! You're all fabulous anyway, so who cares! :)

  1. This post moves me to tears. You captured everyone beautifully...even me, which is difficult. I care about so many of these people just as you do and can't imagine not having them as part of my life. I felt that this is one of the most poetic posts you have ever done. The poetry of the images brings me joy and your talent makes me so proud as you hone your skill everyday and get better and better. I watched you from a distance as you were editing these photos and I saw the joy spread across your face as you peered upon who you had captured through your lens. It is obvious that these photos were taken with the greatest amount of love for your subjects. Brilliant work!

  7. Wow. These are fantastic portraits. Your framing is fantastic and the lighting is great too. The black and white of your mother is outstanding, and I absolutely love how you captured your father's eyes.

    Great job on this challenge!

  8. These are awesome, your pictures of your mom are definitely my favorite, there is so much character in her eyes, I love it! Besides that, I love the lighting on the last picture, and the variety of angles and facial expressions in these pictures, they are awesome!
