ReplyDeleteThis is the BEST interpretation ever! (I say that because it was my original interpretation of what I was going to do, but couldn't get it set up how I wanted it) I like your expression. The only thing I would've changed is making your shirt contrast more with the background in some way. It bothers me that I can't see the definition of your body.
ReplyDeleteWell this concept for me was to multi layered imperfection. Not only did I want it to be a self portrait, I wanted the execution of these images to be a layer of imperfection as well. They are all a bit overexposed and some are out of focus. So that is why you don't see the contrast in this image. It is simply imperfect in the conventional sense and the poetic as well...
